Ph.D. Educational Policy, Planning and Leadership

The advanced program in Educational Policy, Planning, and Leadership with a concentration in Gifted Education is designed for holders of Master’s degrees who wish to prepare themselves with the knowledge and skills required to assume leadership roles in gifted education at local, state, and national levels.

Graduates of the Ph.D. program should develop scholarship to conduct original research and to interpret and communicate the results of such research to various constituencies in education and other human services. The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree program prepares scholars for service as college and university professors, educational administrators, government or foundation officers, or independent researchers and practitioners.
