Alynn Parham M.A.Ed. '18
Alynn Parham M.A.Ed. '18 is a social studies teacher at Jamestown High School (JHS). She teaches World History II, World Geography, and African American History. In addition to teaching at JHS, she was the Williamsburg James City Education Association President, JV scholastic bowl coach, sponsor of the 365 African American Scholastic Bowl. Starting next year, she will be teaching the AP African American Studies course.
During her time at the School of Education at William & Mary, she learned how to develop curriculum and instruction tailored to the needs of her students while fulfilling the requirements from the standards of learning.
According to Parham, the biggest impact she felt at William & Mary was "having an amazing social studies cohort at the School of Education. I was with an amazing group of people during my time in the School of Education and some of us still stay in touch."
