The need for culturally responsive, inclusive teachers to support diverse learners has never been greater. William & Mary’s department of Curriculum & Instruction offers programs that combine investigation and application of critical educational research on best practices for serving students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, students from low-income communities, and students with exceptionalities. Coursework in our programs is closely aligned with supervised practicum and clinical experiences in local schools with experienced mentor teachers.
