School Leadership Institute

SLI logo The School Leadership Institute develops programs for building level instructional leaders, teacher leaders, and superintendents as well as other school leaders on critical educational leadership and instructional issues. We are located at 208 South Boundary Street, Williamsburg, VA 23185. We are a part of William and Mary's School of Education. 

The School Leadership Institute and SURN sponsors two blogs: 

  • an education research-focused blog which is updated approximately twice a month with annotations of educational research studies and best practices information. 
  • an adolescent literacy blog that has entries posted most Mondays by teachers who are using the Power Tools literacy strategies in core content areas.

We also send out periodic email blasts with links to free resources, research annotations, and information about SLI and School University Research Network (SURN) programs.
