Graduate Education Association
Current opportunities for engagement
The Graduate Education Association (GEA) represents and advocates for all graduate students at William & Mary’s School of Education! It is a graduate student-led initiative that serves as a transparent governing body and resource for our students. Their goals include:
- Fostering social, academic, and professional interaction among graduate education students and between students, faculty, and administration
- Providing accessible, inclusive, and valuable opportunities for students to exchange ideas and gain professional development
- Connecting students with opportunities for service and other engagement in the SOE, the W&M community, and the wider Williamsburg area
- Representing all SOE graduate students at official events and on committees within W&M
- Governing in matters of discipline and honor code violations for SOE graduate students
All graduate students in the School of Education who have been admitted to a program and/or are enrolled in one or more classes are members of GEA.
School of Education students may apply for GEA Student Conference Funding.
Please reach out to GEA at gea@wm.edu at any time with any questions, concerns, or suggestions.
