Directions and Parking
The Center for Gifted Education is located on the 3rd floor of the William and Mary School of Education at 301 Monticello Ave Williamsburg VA 23185.
From the EAST
From I-64 West, take Exit 242A (199 West). After traveling approximately 6 miles, turn right onto John Tyler Hwy. Turn left onto State Route 616/ Strawberry Plains Road (1 mile), then turn right on Ironbound Rd. At the light, turn right on Monticello Ave. Take the 2nd right to reach the School of Education.
From the WEST
From I-64 East, take Exit 234 for VA- 199 toward Lightfoot, turn right on 199 E. After traveling approximately 6 miles, take the exit right towards Monticello Avenue. Turn left onto Monticello Avenue and travel for approximatelly 2 miles. The School of Education will be on the right.
Rail
You can reach Williamsburg by rail.
Airports
There are three airports which serve the Williamsburg area. All airports have shuttle or taxi service to Williamsburg and the College.

Williamsburg/Newport News (PHF) is about 25 minutes away

Richmond airport (RIC) is about 45 minutes away

Norfolk airport (ORF) is over an hour away. Keep in mind that there is a tunnel between Norfolk and Williamsburg, which can sometimes cause traffic delays.
Parking
Conference attendees should receive a parking pass in their confirmation packets. Questions regarding the College's parking policy should be directed to Parking Services.
