Family Engagement Network
The Family Engagement Network (FEN) was established by the Virginia Department of Education to foster family engagement in education, especially for children with disabilities. The members of the network do this by assisting VDOE in developing and implementing activities that:
- Encourage schools and families to recognize the importance of family involvement,
- Foster family involvement in the education process, and
- Facilitate and promote collaboration among VDOE, T/TACs and PRCs, as well as others agencies and organizations invested in promoting family engagement.
