Camp Launch

Born out of a desire to help gifted students from all socioeconomic levels, Camp Launch provided high ability students from low-income families with enrichment and academic opportunities. The children were recruited from school districts around Virginia. They participated in a two week residential program with courses in STEM, writing, and personal development.

Camp Launch is being funded by the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation and is only the beginning of the Center for Gifted Education’s goal to bring educational equality to all gifted students.
