The new writing SOLs and performance tasks are being rolled out this year. Are your teachers ready? Send them to this mini conference where they will get all the tools they need to effectively prepare students to succeed in writing. This highly interactive conference is great for all teachers across the content areas, especially those who might need more professional learning in how to model and scaffold the writing process for students.
About the Eastern Virginia Writing Project (EVWP)
The Eastern Virginia Writing Project focuses the knowledge, expertise, and leadership of educators on sustained efforts to improve writing and learning for all learners. Writing in its many forms is the signature means of communication in the 21st century. The EVWP envisions a future where every person is an accomplished writer, engaged learner, and active participant in a digital, interconnected world.
