Advocates for Richmond Youth

Currently, there are several challenges to serving homeless youth in Richmond: a lack of resources, long waiting lists for the few resources that are available, and a lack of information on the scope of homelessness among Richmond’s youth. Advocates for Richmond Youth has collected important information from youth and service providers to better understand how the system works and what we can do to get the help we need to move forward in addressing youth homelessness in our community. We use our research to take action to affect change in our community, including providing training for service providers who work with youth.
