"The Higher Education Program at William & Mary gave me the tools to analyze the phenomena happening daily around me as a college administrator. I was learning the day-to-day skill set on the job, but my master's degree coursework taught me how to understand the executive level decisions regarding budgetary concerns, faculty recruitment and retention, enrollment management and student affairs. My courses at William & Mary gave me the national and international higher education context within which I could evaluate my role. And while the faculty at William & Mary are highly respected in their fields of study, they are also real people who take the time to share stories of their dogs, their hobbies and their lives.
