Richard HodgesRichard Hodges, Director of Learning Resources at Thomas Nelson Community College worked in both academic and public libraries in Kansas, Mississippi, Pennsylvania and New Jersey before recently joining the TNCC faculty.

Richard holds Bachelor’s degree in music from Wichita State University in Kansas, a Master’s of Music degree from the University of Mississippi and a Master’s of Library and Information Science degree from Louisiana State University.

Along with his skills as a librarian Richard is also an accomplished musician having appeared as a saxophone soloist in Europe, Canada, and throughout the United States including his debut recital in Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Some of his research interests include multi-media applications, emerging technologies, information literacy and library management.
