Nicole Frohne (School Psychology)
I am a first year student in the School Psychology
M.Ed/Ed.S. program. I graduated from Virginia
Commonwealth University
in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in psychology. I worked as a research
assistant throughout my undergraduate career, which made me realize that I
wanted a highly practical program for my graduate education.
The practical nature of the program at William and Mary is a key feature that caught my attention. As I had hoped, by the second week I was already out of the classroom and in the field interacting with children and observing practicing school psychologists.
Another thing I have come to love about William and Mary is the diverse group of students in the program. Not only do I have the opportunity to be trained by an experienced faculty, but I have the chance to learn from 11 other students that have had a variety of experiences that differ from my own.
Although I have only been at William and Mary for a month, I am already certain that I made the right choice!
