School-University Research Network

The School-University Research Network (SURN) began in 1994 as a partnership of the William & Mary School of Education with Virginia K-12 school divisions to conduct relevant research and provide professional development in order to promote quality teaching and learning. Currently, 28 school divisions actively participate in SURN through by collaborating with university educators to design research and professional development programs and participating in programs created to address needs identified by partner district superintendents.
