Susan joined TTAC William & Mary in September 2015. She earned her B.A. in French Language and Literature from the University of Virginia, and M.S.Ed. degrees in Special Education and Educational Leadership, both from Old Dominion University. She taught in a variety of self-contained and modified self-contained settings before finding her home in collaborative classrooms. She spent two years in a PreK-8 building serving as the Special Education Instructional Leader, which provided her with a strong compliance background for the eligibility and IEP processes, as well as plenty of practice working with general and special education teachers at the elementary and secondary level to develop inclusive practices for students with disabilities.
