Davina Parmet
The newest member of the HTSAC team is Davina Parmet, who holds a M.Ed. in School Counseling from the College of William & Mary and a B.A. in Comparative Literature from Brown University.
Davina singlehandedly oversees all programming, evaluation, and materials distribution associated with our Virginia Tobacco Settlement Foundation grant. This major grant enables HTSAC to provide prevention programming in pre-school, elementary, and middle school classes in Williamsburg/James City County, York County and the City of Poquoson. Programming is designed to meet the needs of each school and includes Al’s Pals, Too Good For Drugs, and Project Alert. In addition, Davina works closely with James City County Parks & Recreation, Colonial Service Board’s Family Focus program, and the College of William & Mary School of Education’s counseling students who assist in facilitating off-site programs for VTSF.
Davina loves cooking, yoga, Cape Cod, and the cinema. She is married to Paul Reagan, president of Sampling Associates International, located on Pier 9 in Hampton Roads Harbor. Davina and Paul have two daughters, Lianna, a sophomore majoring in urban studies at Barnard College in NYC, and Sasha, a sophomore at Lafayette High School, and the precious HTSAC mascot Miss Shoe, the queen mutt.
