Lead Exposure Resources
  • The Society for Research in Child Development (SRCD) has published a new Social Policy Report, entitled Protecting Children from Exposure to Lead: Old Problem, New Data, and New Policy Needs [pdf] (2010), by Claire Cole and Adam Winsler. The report discusses new data on the intellectual, academic, and behavioral deficits seen in children exposed to both low and high levels of lead and explores the sources of environmental lead that children continue to come into contact with at high rates. It also provides recommendations on what policymakers can do to reduce the threat of lead exposure. - Society for Research in Child Development, 24(1), 2010
