  1. Learning Resource Center
    The School of Education maintains the LRC to support its instructional programs. Among the various types of materials that may be checked out from the LRC are K-12 textbooks, psychoeducational test instruments and audio-visual equipment. Course reserve readings and network accessible computers are available for use in the LRC.
  2. Licensure
    Forms available for those about to complete teacher preparation, school administration, school psychology or school guidance programs and wish to apply for initial certification.
  3. Literacy for Life at the Rita Welsch Adult Learning Center
    Literacy for Life builds better lives by teaching adults the literacy skills required for self-sufficiency, better health, and meaningful participation in society.
  4. Literacy Leadership
    Literacy leaders are master teachers who provide essential leadership for the school’s overall literacy program and play a key role in leading and supporting teachers to become more effective practitioners in literacy teaching. This program is an add-on endorsement, for certified teachers with three years classroom teaching experience whom are eligible to receive this licensure from the state of Virginia.
