MAEd in Elementary Education
I love W&M: its faculty, inspirational peers, and curious culture. Getting
to spend another year under the 5-Year MA.Ed program was an easy decision. The
School of Education is well respected for its challenging curriculum and strong
preparation of teachers for the field. I was so excited to be a part of the
program and gain as much experience and knowledge in preparation for entering
my chosen profession as possible.
I chose the field of Education because I want to spark the love of learning fire early in children’s lives. I will be the teacher whose classroom children enjoy walking into in the morning and are excited to engage in conversations about new topics. I chose Elementary Education because I feel my strengths lie best in connecting with children at that age.
